Location/Zone: Grand Junction, Colorado, USA, Zone 6b and 7a

What type of Garden:  Inground, beds / Tomatoes, onions, green beans, cucumbers, variety of greens, pumpkins, carrots, watermelons, corn, cantaloupes, squash, zucchini,  radishes,  herbs, peaches, cherries, apricots, pluots, and different varieties of grapes.

Gardening Experience: Started 30 years ago in Florida.

What do you like to grow: Pretty much anything. It's a challenge for me!

Favorite item to grow: All 
Least favorite item to grow: Tomatoes
Recommended item to grow for beginners: Peas, Beans, Cabbage, Zucchini, Squash, and Beets.


"Gardening is a 'try and try again' challenge... Never give, up there is always hope! Colorado has been challenging compared to AR and FL. Having hard work and local resources like wood chips that would normally end up in the landfills (mostly free) is amazing."
